Lawyer In the Classroom
Please give local students 45 minutes!
This year, the annual Law Day “Lawyer in the Classroom” program has been scheduled for Friday, April 30, 2010. Each year, lawyers from the Greater Lowell Bar Association fan out into the community to visit local schools and speak with young people about the practice of law. It is an experience both the students and the lawyers consistently report that they enjoy.
Lawyers will address students for one class period, which is generally 45 minutes in length (or on rare occasion 60 minutes). Presentations are generally scheduled to start between 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., depending on the school. Lawyers are given a presentation topic that is in keeping with the annual Law Day theme, as determined by the ABA. Typically thereafter, there will be some time for Q&A with the students - ALWAYS a lively time!
If interested in participating in “Lawyer in the Classroom” please contact Jim Hall at jphall@qhhw.com so he can add you to the program.
